The complexities of coordinating large consortia technical innovation projects that are funded by the European Union demand a level of expertise and dedication that goes beyond the ordinary. Meet Spinverse’s Project Services team, a group of professionals committed to providing the most efficient project administration and communication services, led by John Sperryn.

Spinverse, together in collaboration with the Embassies of the Netherlands in the Nordics and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, has conducted market research regarding hydrogen in the Nordics. This study, titled “Hydrogen in the Nordics: Collaboration Opportunities for Dutch Companies”, delves deep into the needs, strengths, and aspirations unique to each Nordic country with regard to hydrogen economy. 

We are delighted to introduce our new colleagues who bring with them vast expertise in the areas of bioeconomy, project management, health, smart cities and mobility. Join us to welcome this fantastic group of talent and subject matter expertise to Spinverse.

As summer holiday 2023 approaches, I enjoy taking a step back and reflecting on what has happened since last summer. It has been an eventful journey indeed!

Spinverse continues its growth, adding four remarkable talents to our ranks: Kiran Pokharel, Khatereh Rasti, Anna Råstedt, and Suvi Vähä-Sipilä. As we enhance our innovation capacity with their unique expertise, we look forward to the exciting possibilities ahead.

The innovation funding consultancy Spinverse takes another considerable step on its journey from founder-led family company, as the founder and Vice-Chair Pekka Koponen announces his transition from his active roles in the company to become a full-time investor at his family investment company Infinit Capital Oy. Laura Koponen, current CEO of Spinverse, will succeed Pekka as Vice-Chair and leave her role as CEO. 

IMCG, now part of Spinverse, was a key partner in the HORIZON 2020 EU funded project, IRIS (Integrated and Replicable solutions for co-creation in Sustainable cities), which received 18 million euros in funding and aimed to accelerate the adoption of smart sustainable city solutions across Europe. Over the course of the five and a half years until March 2023, the project brought together more than 50 partners and seven European cities with a mission to build a more sustainable future for our cities and the people who call them home.

Last week was a truly momentous occasion for us at Spinverse. Being recognized as one of the best workplaces in Finland was an incredible achievement, and it prompted me to reflect on what sets us apart from other companies and makes us a great place to work.

The annual list of Finland's best workplaces by Great Place to Work was announced on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Spinverse was ranked among Finland's best workplaces in this year's survey by Great Place to Work. 

We are excited to introduce our newest team members, a group of accomplished professionals whose skills and expertise will help take Spinverse to the next level.
