Spinverse Head of People and Culture: Dijana Soininen reflecting on us being a Great Place to Work

Last week was a truly momentous occasion for us at Spinverse. Being recognized as one of the best workplaces in Finland was an incredible achievement, and it prompted me to reflect on what sets us apart from other companies and makes us a great place to work.

From the moment I joined Spinverse two years back, I noticed something truly unique about our team. The way people relate to one another, how they treat each other, support each other, and how they communicate is truly remarkable. Our team is genuinely curious about other people and their unique perspectives, and this creates a sense of openness and respect that is very special.

At Spinverse, we understand that diversity and inclusion are not just buzzwords, but essential components of a successful business. We actively seek out and embrace differences, knowing that it leads to better ideas, better teamwork, and ultimately, better business results. This is reflected in the three strengths of our culture that Great Place to Work® recognized:

  • Team spirit: We enjoy a strong sense of team spirit, fostered by a friendly and supportive work environment where people feel they belong.
  • Trust: We are grateful for the trust people place towards each other and towards the company, and we work hard to maintain it by being honest, transparent, and open in our communication.
  • Commitment: Our people are strongly committed to their work, and the mission for solving pressing global challenges strongly unites us.

I feel incredibly proud to be part of a team that is so dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive workplace. I want to thank all of our people for making Spinverse such a great place to work, and Great Place to Work® for recognizing our commitment to building a strong and inclusive company culture. We are looking forward to continuing to build on our achievements in the months and years to come. Staying true to our values, listening and being sensitive to what matters to us, letting go of things that do not serve us and finally ensuring that our workplace remains supportive to diversity of perspectives.
