The SUSPENSE project secured EUR 7.48 million from Circular Bio-based Europe to develop sustainable bio-based adhesives

The four-year SUSPENSE project, coordinated by CHIMAR HELLAS S.A. from Greece, has secured EUR 7.48 million from Circular Bio-based Europe (CBE). SUSPENSE aims to develop innovative, sustainable bio-based adhesives targeted at replacing conventional fossil-based adhesives used in wood-based panels and insulation materials. Spinverse supported the SUSPENSE consortium in their successful project proposal process and will continue to work with the consortium as it prepares to kick off the project in October 2025.

PROSPER project on bio-based plastics coordinated by University of Ghent secures 7.5M€ in CBE funding update

The PROSPER consortium project has recently secured funding from the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU). PROSPER aims to promote the recycling and sorting of bio-based plastics as part of the initiatives to boost a circular economy. As a result of successful collaboration with Spinverse, the project application secured the funding of 7.5M€ and received maximum scores in the evaluation process.
