Welcoming new colleagues at Spinverse in health and smart city domains
In March, we are happy to welcome new colleagues to Spinverse, bringing a wealth of expertise in healthcare, innovations, AI-driven solutions and electronics in the health domain as well as experience working with European institutions. Meet our experts Mirjam, Amin and Mira!
Mirjam Jern-Matintupa (MD, MPH) has joined the Digital Health Team as a Consultant. With over a decade of experience in digital transformation and innovation in healthcare as well as previous clinical work as a physician, Mirjam brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. She is excited to be part of the Spinverse team and looks forward to collaborating on innovative projects with both customers and colleagues. Her passion lies in enhancing healthcare services for patients and healthcare personnel alike, and she has a particular interest in patient engagement and e-health literacy. In addition to her role at Spinverse, Mirjam is continuing her Ph.D. at Helsinki University, researching digital services in occupational healthcare. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family. Mirjam is also a vocal music enthusiast.
Amin Hekmatmanesh (B.Sc., Electrical Engineering; M.Sc. Biomedical Engineering; Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering; Post Doc) has joined the Health Tech team as a Project Manager, bringing with him a decade of academic and applied experience in developing AI-driven solutions for health technologies. In addition to his expertise in AI, he is engaged in the development of sensors and electronics for healthcare. He believes that the future of European technological advancements is shaped by consulting companies, with Spinverse at the forefront of leading EU-funded innovations. With a keen interest in collaboration, he looks forward to contributing to Spinverse’s innovative health tech team. He is passionate about brainstorming, teamwork and project management in this new role, where he is excited to make a meaningful impact on the team.
Mira Sallamo (M.Sc.) joined the Smart Cities and Mobility Team as team leader and Director. Mira is a senior professional with almost 30 years of experience in public and private sector organisations, dealing with European public policies and digital regulations, strategy development, implementation and operations. She is combining technical background with leadership and management skills. She has a long experience from management consultancy and delivering IT Business Management projects for the European institutions. Equally she has a long experience on public procurement, and she has managed various innovation or technology projects, programmes and large framework contacts for the institutions. Mira is a strong believer in teamwork and achieving synergies via collaboration. She enjoys facilitating workshops and trainings (leadership and project management) in multicultural and inclusive environments. Mira is excited to join the Spinverse team and looking forward to driving smart cities and mobility activities together with customers and colleagues. She describes herself as a bridge builder, as she gets energised by connecting people and topics in a purposeful way and working together to make the magic happen.
