Latest additions to the Spinverse team
Spinverse focuses on growth and expansion. Since May 2016, we have opened a new office in Sweden and significantly reinforced our team of experts.
Juhani Luotola had joined Spinverse in August 2016 as a Senior Consultant and Programme Director of SalWe (Strategic Center of Science Technology and Innovation in Health and Well-being) Personalized Diagnostics and Care Program (GET IT DONE, 2014-2018). Juhani has more than 35 years of experience in In Vitro Diagnostics industry area, including a 27-year career at Orion Diagnostica. He is a Knight of the Order of the White Rose of Finland.
A seasoned life science expert, Lisse-Lotte Hermansson, reinforced Spinverse team in Sweden as a Senior Consultant. She mainly focuses on building client relationships that enable commercialisation of emerging technologies, building on her global 25 years track record in both Medtech and Pharma. Prior to joining Spinverse, Lisse-Lotte has delivered market access and due diligence strategies in large global companies such as Thermo Fisher, Genzyme, BMS and Aventis/Sanofi, while contributing to the launch of block buster products.
Senior Project Manager, Dr. Juha Riikonen, has a broad expertise in materials science as well as micro- and nanotechnology. Prior to becoming a part of Spinverse team, he has worked with multitude of projects from science to R&D&I involving for example instrument realization and development of novel nanomaterial based applications. His versatile scientific and technical knowledge combined with experience and innovative mindset enables him to contribute to diverse set of customer projects.
As a Project Manager, and a true business developer at heart, Juho-Ville Matveinen, brings to Spinverse team his knowledge in the field of service design and helps our customers to find new growth. His passion lies in emerging technologies and novel ideas that have the potential to transform entire industries.
Another addition to the Spinverse office in Sweden is Dr. Laura Silvennoinen, who started as a Project Manager. She has a strong scientific background within life sciences and shares a true interest towards managing open innovation projects within a vast variety of fields. At Spinverse she focuses on building long-lasting relationships with the Swedish customers by helping companies in receiving EU Horizon 2020 funding for their innovative ideas and helping in managing EU projects.
Wei Kou serves as a Project Manager at Spinverse. He mostly focuses on sustainable technologies and renewable energy, improving society’s sustainability and energy efficiency within the Kaidi Finland megaproject, where Spinverse acts as Kaidi’s representative in Finland and coordinates business development, planning, financing and partner selection.
Analyst Pilvi Hietanen, is working on EU and commercialisation related activities in Spinverse. She is a true technology enthusiast with main interests in process metallurgy, fluid dynamics and materials science
Last but not least, Spinverse summer trainees had brought youthful energy and fresh enthusiasm to Spinverse headquarters: Eerika Ala-Kantti and Joel Heino helping the marketing team, Janne Kaukajärvi serving the Swedish team, while Matti Saari spent his summer as a Junior Analysist and Xiang You was working for projects with China.
