Spinverse Drives Nano Commercialisation at EuroNanoForum 2013 in Dublin
After the successful EuroNanoForum 2011 in Budapest, Spinverse continues the conference series from 18.-20. June 2013 in the Convention Center Dublin.
ENF 2013: "Nanotechnology Innovation: From research to commercialisation - the bridge to Horizon2020", organised by Enterprise Ireland and Spinverse focuses on the commercialisation of nanotechnologies, exploiting its potential for new applications and taking them further from enabling technologies to end products.
With Horizon2020 beginning in 2014, the conference will show how nanotechnologies fit into the new structure within key priority areas of Excellent Science, Industrial Leadership and Societal Challenges.
A major milestone was achieved during Industrial Technologies 2012, where industry committed in the Industrial Technologies Declaration to public-private innovation as the route to sustained economic growth for Europe in nanotechnology, advanced materials and new production technologies.
Following this declaration, ENF 2013 brings together start-ups and spin-offs with innovative corporations and investors, world-class science, and representatives from the European Commission to advance commercialisation of nanotechnology. The event addresses critical success factors and encourages the dialogue between organisations and across industry boundaries, directing public and private sector investment to support innovation, and management of complex industry needs.
ENF 2013 also features companies in a wide range of industrial sectors discussing their needs in nanotechnology and solutions to bring innovations faster to the market, such as Intel, Fiat, Philips, Acciona etc.
The event will offer versatile plenaries, sessions and workshops, a Investor Forum where the most promising start-up is nominated, a Brokerage Day in co-operation with Enterprise Europe Network and an extensive exhibition. You can also pay a visit to the Magical Materials NanoLab. Moreover, the winner of the Best Researcher Award 2013 will be nominated at the gala evening.
