Digital Health
Samuli Hirsjärvi (Ph.D.) has joined Spinverse as Senior Project Manager in the Digital Health team. Recently, he has led research and application development activities and MedTech new business development in the semiconductor industry at Applied Materials. Samuli has versatile hands-on background in academic pharmaceutical and medical research, covering all areas from drug discovery to formulation, and from pre-clinical evaluation to clinical trials and epidemiology studies. He has worked in Medical Affairs function at pharma companies Boehringer Ingelheim, Roche and AbbVie, and worked with quality and regulatory aspects at B. Braun. He holds a title of Associate Professor (Docent) of industrial pharmacy at the University of Helsinki.
Megan Woods (B.Sc. Hons) has joined Spinverse as a Consultant in the Digital Health team. She brings over seven years of experience in project management and client relations within the life sciences sector. Originally from the UK, Megan worked in medical communications, delivering expert consultancy services to the pharmaceutical industry. Since relocating to Finland, she has served as a Strategic Partnership Manager at Elekta Kaiku, a company known for its digital app supporting cancer patients throughout their treatment journey. At Spinverse, Megan will leverage her combined expertise in medical consulting and digital health to strengthen and support the Digital Health team.
ICT & Electronics
Oscar Santolalla (M.Sc.) has joined Spinverse as Senior Project Manager in the ICT & Electronics team. Originally from Peru, he brings more than a decade and a half of experience in the tech arena, working for technology vendors and public service organisations. For the past seven years, Oscar worked in projects involving complex B2B products and solutions, especially for solving digital identity, IAM, fraud and cybersecurity challenges. He also possesses wide-ranging sales and communication expertise, including presales, solution engineering, product training and demos, as well as public speaking, panel moderation, event organization, podcasting and storytelling. He is the author of two published books.
Legal
Eetu Simonen (Mgr.) joined Spinverse as Legal Counsel in the CFO Office. He is originally from Finland but spent last 10 years abroad and just recently moved back to his roots. Ever since his graduation, he has been working for the IT sector and most recently, Eetu was employed by a Swiss consulting company focusing on life science and healthcare clients. Combining a sharp legal mind with business acumen, Eetu is an absolute expert in the contract management field. He seeks to help Spinverse with drafting and reviewing new contracts as well as providing advice on any legal matters.
