The first Partner Day on the Finnish-Russian Innovation Alliance on Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology commercialisation challenges and opportunities arising from cross-border cooperation

The Finnish-Russian Innovation Alliance on Nanotechnology Partner Day was held at the Ingria Technopark in St. Petersburg on 15.11.2011
The event’s aim was to discuss cross-border nanotechnology commercialization and challenges related to it. The seminar was arranged by Spinverse and there were over 40 participants representing Innovation Alliance Partner Organizations, from both academia and business in Finland and Russia.

During the seminar the audience had the opportunity to hear the presentations on topics ranging from Challenges of technology commercialization to Results of Finland’s and St. Petersburg’s competence mapping, highlighting cross-border cooperation needs as well as successful business cases. Event served as a good platform for the  Finnish and Russian Alliance Partners to  get acquainted with each others’ activities and build expand their network of valuable cross-border contact for further cooperation.

Finnish-Russian Innovation Alliance on Nanotechnology will continue its efforts in building cross-border nanotechnology transfer platform, with global industry-university co-operation -model, for the benefit of nanotechnology enabled industries in both Finland and Russia.
