Russian AgroBioTech and Finnish Luna Clean Tech Collaborate

New collaboration on developing cost-efficient environmental solutions

Russia-based AgroBioTech LLC and Finnish Luna Clean Tech Oy agreed to collaborate in the area of biogas plant effluent treatment by combining their knowledge on the technical solutions and access to new technologies in the field. They will cooperate in mutually interesting projects in Finland, Russia and internationally.

The core of this business opportunity is AgroBioTech’s technology - a cost efficient module for effluent treatment, which is utilizing advanced materials in the filtration unit, allowing achieving exceptional performance and durability. This technology enables biogas plants to turn organic waste of communities and agricultural production into energy, solid fertilizers and clean water.

The cooperation opportunity was identified as a result of Spinverse’s nanotechnology partner search and networking activities in the frameworks of the Finnish-Russian Innovation Alliance on Nanotechnology, the project funded by the Finnish Ministry of Foreign affairs under the Finland's cooperation with its Neighboring areas Programme. The Alliance provides an effective platform for creating new businesses in its first phase between Russia and Finland and in its later phase, between Russia and the EU.
