Promotions
- Veera Mustonen (M.Sc.) is promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
- Rohit Sood (Ph.D. Chem, MBA) is promoted to Senior Director for health technologies.
- Sukant Panda is stepping into the newly created role of Director, Digital & IT, bringing digital and IT.
- Martina Verolin (Ph.D. RTTP) is promoted to Senior Manager for Health technologies in Sweden.
- Renuka Natarajan (Ph.D.) is promoted to Senior Manager, portfolio management and business development in the Health Tech team.
Welcome to our new colleagues
Hannu Hoffrén (Lic.Sc. (Tech.)) has joined the ICT & Electronics team as a Consultant. He brings over fifteen years of experience in microelectronics, sensors, photonics, and applied physics from roles in product management, application management, and process engineering at Vaisala, Okmetic, and Aivon. His background includes developing and industrialising advanced sensor technologies, supporting technically demanding international tenders, and collaborating closely with R&D and manufacturing teams. His research experience in optical fibers and applied physics further strengthens his ability to support clients in building high‑quality RDI projects within programmes such as Chips JU and Horizon Europe.
Mari Virtanen (Ph.D.) has joined the Health Technologies team as a Project Manager. She brings fifteen years of experience in neuroscience research, leading projects on the molecular mechanisms implicated in epilepsy and autism. She earned her Ph.D. in Geneva, Switzerland, studying how anaesthetics influence brain development and neuronal connectivity. She has extensive experience in international collaborations and has successfully secured multiple competitive research grants. She is also an MBA candidate in Business Innovation Culture and Creativity.
Florence Naillat (Ph.D.) has joined the Digital Health team as a Senior Consultant. She brings twenty years of experience in biomedical research from academia and industry. Before joining Spinverse, Florence worked in the MedTech start-up environment where she led the sensor research for developing a personalised medical device and supported the executive team for strategic decisions. She led a national clinical study to collect samples for validating the sensor development. Her experience in international collaborations with securing competitive research grants provide a foundation for supporting the digital health team.
