Finnish-Russian Nanotechnology Innovation Alliance Seeks Partners to Foster Innovation

Accessing new ways of innovation funding and technology transfer services

On Wednesday, 25th of May 2011 in Lappeenranta, Finland, in the framework of the second EU-Russia Innovation Forum, Spinverse announced that it is seeking partners for the Finnish-Russian Nanotechnology Innovation Alliance project.

Under the terms of this project, partners will have the access to innovation funding, partner search services, market analysis, business development and technology transfer services. First partners of Alliance will be announced in June 2011.

Currently Innovation Alliance is at the ramp-up stage and is being developed with several pilot collaborators, while when in full capacity it shall accelerate nanotechnology innovation by networking innovative companies, universities and financing parties, providing services for boosting cross-border co-operation and fostering technology transfer and creation of new business.

Project stakeholders represent five categories: Universities & Research Institutes, High-Tech Growth Companies, Global Industry Leaders, Investors and Cities. Spinverse has made a strategic decision to seek partners in each of these categories on both sides of the Finnish-Russian border.
