This webinar presents the current EU funding opportunities available for companies and research organisations – including Horizon 2020 and other key innovation funding instruments – and

  • how much funding is currently available and for which areas?
  • what EU funding can be used for?
  • how to prepare your EU funding application(s)?
  • why should you apply for EU funding now?

EU funding is evolving for the future. The current Horizon 2020 is nearing its end, and the next programme Horizon Europe will continue after that with about 100 B€ budget. Note that for the next year both H2020 and other EU funding schemes still offer immense possibilities for funding research and innovation. The commission announced recently that it will allocate 11 B€ H2020 funding for the year 2020 to “seek greater impact of its research funding by focusing on fewer, but crucial, topics such as climate change, clean energy, plastics, cybersecurity, and the digital economy”. The webinar is hosted by Spinverse’s Eeva Viinikka. Eeva is an experienced creator and leader of large-scale multi-party R&D&I projects, with a solid track record in Horizon 2020 proposal preparation. Expert in nano- and microtechnologies, Eeva has hands-on experience in e.g. industrial R&D, innovation policies and research.
