CleverHealth Network ecosystem and E3 Excellence in Pandemics Response project showcased at HIMSS22 Europe
Europe’s healthcare leaders will meet on 14-16 June 2022 at the HIMSS22 European Health Conference & Exhibition in Helsinki, Finland. Helsinki University Hospital will showcase their expertise and results of joint R&D with companies through the CleverHealth Network ecosystem and “E3 Excellence in Pandemics Response” project. These two entities are part of the inspiring programme at the Finnish Pavilion, where Finnish know-how on health technologies is on display for the international participant group of healthcare pioneers and innovators. Spinverse team coordinates the CleverHealth Network (CHN) ecosystem and facilitates the joint work in the E3 project, and will be present at the HIMSS22 event.
HIMSS22 Europe is Europe’s most influential event for digital health. Organised at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, the international event offers a programme with more than 60 sessions and extensive networking opportunities to European healthcare experts.
At the Finnish Pavilion, Director of Strategic Development Visa Honkanen of HUS starts the first day on Finnish healthcare knowhow with his keynote on “How data-based innovations reshape healthcare”. His keynote, taking place on the 15th June, will lead the discussion towards interesting use cases, several Finnish stakeholders and innovative companies working in this area. Another important presentation related to CleverHealth Network is given by Prof. Kimmo Porkka, Head of Division at HUS Comprehensive Cancer Center and the leader of the Acute leukemia project. He will speak in the session on Data Driven Population Health Management.
The Excellence in Pandemics Response (E3) project will take the conference stage on the 16th of June, where Spinverse’s Markku Heino will host a one-hour session called “Pandemic-safe indoor solutions”. The session offers insights into tackling the challenge through this extensive joint project. Enni Sanmark from HUS and Aku Karvinen from VTT will open the research angles on healthcare and air-borne contamination aspects. Company perspectives will be brought by Milla Mikkola, Roche, Kim Hagström, Halton and Jukka Vasara, Granlund highlighting the roles of diagnostics, indoor-climate control and smart hospital building, respectively. The session ends in a panel discussion. Markku Heino says: “E3 project aims to develop pandemic safe environments applying science-based facts created and validated through the highly multidisciplinary joint R&D&I work of 22 companies and seven research institutes. Currently we are working on use cases regarding different spaces and environments in e.g. hospitals, daycare and offices.”
CleverHealth Network ecosystem with HUS and 18 top-notch companies is a forerunner of utilizing healthcare data and modern analytics tools to create improved, more predictive and effective care paths for well-identified clinical needs. Results of the ongoing projects will be shown at the exhibition, and some of the key clinical specialists from HUS and experts from partner companies working within the ecosystem will also be present at the CleverHealth Network stand in the exhibition area. Project Director of the ecosystem Mirka Tammi says: “We are excited to be part of this international healthcare event and are looking forward to discussing about our project outcomes and new initiatives with other experts. Welcome to meet our clinical experts and companies at stand #1110.“
