Who should be the next CTO of the Year Europe?
European innovators deserve to be celebrated for helping to solve some of the most pressing challenges of our times. Growth used to be the byword for all businesses, but today the key is sustainable growth which improves our quality of life. These are significant global challenges and can be met with the help of European technology.
“CTOs are the individuals driving innovation across our industries,” says Malte Lohan, director general of Orgalim. “At the company level, I see plenty of tech leaders taking ownership of a business development role. At the higher societal level, I believe CTOs will be central figures in reshaping our joint future.”
The European CTO of the Year award is a platform to promote the importance of European technology and innovation. It is awarded by Orgalim, EIRMA and Spinverse in two categories: SMEs and large companies.
The winners are chosen by a diverse group of international experts, including last year’s winners Juha Salmela of Spinnova and Nicolas Cudre-Mauroux of Solvay. Their combination of hands-on experience and conceptual analysis enables them to choose some of the best innovators the continent has to offer.
“This award was established to promote excellence in technological innovation and give recognition to people who work hard to support European competitiveness,” explains Pekka Koponen, founder of Spinverse.
Nominations are now open for the European CTO of the Year 2019 award.
