We are happy to announce two new colleagues joining Spinverse in April. Mikko Finnberg brings onboard his finance expertise to our finance office, and Aleksandra Karimaa her funding instrument knowledge as well as innovation management in advanced technologies in defence and security in particular.
Mikko Finnberg (BBA) has joined the Finance team as a Business Controller. Over the past 15+ years, he has worked in management accounting within the IT sector, most recently as a Finance Business Partner. Mikko has developed strong experience in performance analysis, financial planning, and supporting business leaders in making informed, data-driven decisions. He’s excited to bring his experience and collaborative mindset to Spinverse and looks forward to learning, contributing and growing together with his new colleagues.
Aleksandra Karimaa (M.Sc, MBA) has joined the Defence and Security team as Senior Project Manager. Aleksandra brings over 15 years of cross-industry experience in managing R&D and innovation projects in the field of advanced technologies. Her competence combines technical background with management skills and senior consulting experience. Aleksandra is a trained expert in innovation management (MBA, Innovation and Growth) with more than 15 years' experience in RDI funding on EU and national level.
Aleksandra is fluent in advanced technologies with her hands-on experience including electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, networking and software engineering, and she is currently completing her Ph.D. in communication systems engineering. Aleksandra’s professional experience includes funding, development and management of advanced technology R&D projects across multiple industries for both public and private sectors and companies of all sizes. With interest and fluency in areas very relevant to today’s security and defence, Aleksandra is hoping to make a meaningful impact on Spinverse footprint in the industry.
