Suvi Vähä-Sipilä, M.Sc. (Arts), B.Sc. (Social Sciences), working as a Senior Consultant for the Smart Cities and Mobility team, reports to Veera Mustonen. Suvi will be focusing on identifying innovation and collaboration opportunities, creating new consortia and project applications, and managing projects and ecosystems in the mobility sector. Having previously worked in Brussels and Helsinki on mobility-related topics and various EU-funding instruments, her knowledge and experience will be invaluable to our team. Suvi brings her wide-ranging experience from her previous roles at Forum Virium Helsinki and the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, where she worked in EU and innovation projects.
Khatereh Rasti, M.Sc. (English Language & Literature), B.Sc. (English translation) has joined us as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager, reporting to Dijana Soininen. With several years of experience in the international corporate landscape, Khatereh will ensure seamless operations and effective support. Her background includes roles in various industries such as oil and gas, food companies, and experience as an interpreter and translator. Khatereh, who has been a pivotal figure in office administration tasks, HR matters, and CEO support, brings a unique skill set to our team, encompassing the ability to bridge language gaps and understand different cultures.
Kiran Pokharel, M.Sc. (Global Healthcare), joined us as a Trainee in the Health Technology team, reporting to Rohit Sood. Kiran brings to the table a decade of experience in healthcare and a strong background in nursing. She has previously served as a Project Manager in the Apotti project office, where she successfully managed the implementation of the social and health care system for the city of Vantaa. This experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of technology integration into healthcare operations and patient care outcome improvement. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in information technology, Kiran's passion for health technology is palpable.
Anna Råstedt, B.Sc. (Biomedical Science), has joined the Health Technologies team led by Rohit Sood as a Trainee. She will assist in administrative tasks and communication to ensure the projects run smoothly. Anna, who has recently completed her Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Edinburgh, is committed to implementing innovative health technologies that improve quality of life and reduce disease burden. During her studies, she did research in cognitive neuroscience and helped write research proposals. Her previous experience includes sales and customer service roles, as well as work in elderly care.
