Introducing new Spinverse experts
We have again welcomed a group of versatile professionals to join the ever-growing team of experts at Spinverse. Warm welcome to Jari Herranen, Franklin Nguyen, Dijana Soininen, and Giancarlo Pastor (as seen in photo).
Jari Herranen joins us as a Project Manager in the Health team. Jari has more than 20 years of industrial experience in developing both solutions and processes and designing products in the medical devices and in chemical process industries. In his previous work, he designed labeling solutions for pharmaceutical and food packaging applications. Jari has worked both in start-up and global matrix organizations.
Our first Vietnamese colleague, Franklin Hong Nhung Nguyen is a Digital Marketing and Sales Specialist for Spinbase, Spinverse’s AI-powered search engine for EU funding, partners and projects. Her objective at Spinverse is to help universities, research institutes, cities and growth companies accelerate their innovations with relevant public funding and the right partners. As a digital marketing specialist, Franklin combines a laser-focus on customer value and telling stories from data to drive growth. To date, Franklin has strategically planned, executed and reported over 30 marketing campaigns for Open Innovation Programs and Hackathons.
On joining Spinverse, Franklin says: “The first month at Spinverse has been wonderful! The best thing is to be surrounded by such talented and curious colleagues, I often find myself having interesting and engaging discussions during lunch, coffee breaks and after-works. It has also been a great balance between taking ownership of my work but also find support and collaboration whenever I needed. I have been working on B2B Marketing strategy and created a product release campaign for Spinbase and the learning curve is tremendous!”
Dijana Soininen joins Spinverse as our Head of People and Culture with focus on nurturing, developing, and driving Spinverse culture together with the Spinverse people. She leads the people agenda and partners with the leadership to provide people the tools and support to enable them to grow and flourish in their careers.
Dijana brings with her 20 years of experience in senior leadership across multiple industries, coaching organisations to develop their organisational culture and behavior through new ways of leading and working. “Being surrounded by extremely smart and inspiring people and seeing the level of innovations our team works with makes me super excited I get to be part of this: Solving global challenges and making the world a better place," Dijana says.
Giancarlo Pastor is our first colleague with Peruvian roots and joins Spinverse as a Senior Project Manager in the Smart city and mobility team. He has more than ten years of experience in research, development and innovation. His technical expertise lies between signal and image processing, robotics, scalable sensing systems, vehicular communications, and data science.
