Decarbonising transport: The Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility call

The European Union is driving forward its sustainable transportation agenda by allocating EUR 1 billion to the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility (AFIF) for 2024-2025. This initiative supports the development of electric and hydrogen fueling infrastructure across the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), in line with the EU's decarbonisation targets and the new alternative fuels regulation, as well as the ReFuelEU and FuelEU maritime initiatives.
