Amer Sports acquires Sports Tracker

Good news for Sports Tracker and Spinverse Innovation Mill: The Sports Tracker was spun off from Nokia with the Innovation Mill funding back in 2009. After some 25 million downloads globally, more than 2 million monthly active trackers from more than 200 countries around the world and with over 2 billion kilometers tracked, the company was acquired by Amer Sports.

The company will continue to develop its service and products under their own brand and there will be no major changes to its service at this point. You can continue to use Sports Tracker just like before.

The new arrangement enables a more efficient, faster and versatile development of the service offering and gives the possibility to expand the service into new sports and user situations. Being part of Amer Sports gives also the opportunity to broaden Sports Tracker's product portfolio and to add support to a wider range of products.
