Unique opportunity to meet everybody in Russia’s start-up scene

The start-up village event at Skolkovo 26-28 May, 2013

The start-up village event, arranged at the end of May in the Skolkovo village in the Moscow region, provides a unique opportunity for Finnish and European companies to meet essentially the whole Russian start-up scene. This event will be like the Woodstock for start-ups, venture capitalists, innovators, universities and research institutions. There is no reason not to go - it is close by, a 90 minute flight away from Helsinki, it is free to enter and it provides tangible business and funding opportunities for companies involved.

Russia is investing hundreds of millions of euros in start-up activity via funding from e.g. Skolkovo Foundation, Russian Venture Company, Rusnano and other instruments, and wants to see tangible results soon. Funding is available for companies located outside of Russia too, as we have seen in Rusnano’s and Troika’s recent sizable investments in Finland.
