The 2017 edition of EuroNanoForum’s biannual conference and the Nanotech Europe exhibition takes place 21-23 June, in Malta. The event will bring researchers, industrialists, policy makers and also EU citizens together and will help them to create together the road map to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness through the latest developments in nanotechnology and advanced materials.

Nanotechnology has become synonymous with innovation and scientific breakthrough. It helps us push the boundaries of what is achievable across a diverse array of scientific fields and industries, whether it’s advances in the treatment of epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease, 3D printing, or making it possible to get every last drop of shampoo from the bottle.

The conference offers three days of networking and numerous discussions on the latest developments on nanotechnologies and advanced materials, while the parallel event, Nanotech Europe 2017 exhibition, is the marketplace to raise visibility for innovations and breakthroughs. The conference is organised by Malta Enterprise, Malta Council of Science and Technology, University of Malta and Spinverse in collaboration with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation.

In this year’s event, heavy emphasis is put into involving the best players from large industry and SMEs. Over half of the 70+ speakers represent European and international companies developing new nanotechnology and advanced materials innovations. These companies include AUDI AG, Avantium, STMicroelectronics, Infineon, Arkema, UPM Corporation, Robert Bosch, KONE Corporation, and BASF. The speakers deliver their highlights in fifteen thematic sessions with themes ranging through different industrial applications. The three plenary sessions showcase open innovation, different industrial success stories, and how different funding enable the emergence of new innovations to the markets.

Finally, the event offers students and EU citizens a valuable insight into cutting edge  European nanotechnologies. On the third and final day of the event, the entrance to the Nanotech Europe 2017 exhibition and poster exhibition will be free of charge for everyone.

How to get involved in the event? There are many opportunities for you to be seen and heard during the three days:  from poster sessions, the brokerage event, project competition to the exhibition! Discover the right opportunity for you!
